tony Hotel is a gem of South Beach
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Before arriving I had called to request early checkin for both of our reservations, and I was informed they would do their best but no guarantees, but we could use the pool and store our luggage while waiting. Lily and Masma and the front desk bell team were excellent. We also received 2for1 drinks and a discount in the restaurant. We appreciated that we received our room at a decent time. The room (ocean view king deluxe) was spacious and well appointed. My only dislike of the room was the lack of "ocean view", it was more of a "around corner- peekaboo" view. During our two Individual one- night stays, we had cocktails at the lobby bar during happy hour, ate breakfast in the Wish Cafe, enjoyed relaxing at the rooftop pool, and had two meals at the attached News Cafe (20% discount). Everything was excellent and all service was friendly and professional. The location is excellent, in the heart of South Beach, and we would stay there again.

What was the highlight of The Tony Hotel South Beach
Very Good
I booked the Tony during the Art deco weekend. Rooftop pool was excellent. Towels provided as well as views over South Beach! The Concierge Jamie was exceptional and made our visit very enjoyable. We were able to check in slightly early which was good and Jamie looked after my luggage all day following checkout due to an evening flight. We were permitted to use the facilities even after checkout including being able to shower before the flight. Sunbeds and towels also provided for South Beach which was a very nice touch. I will definitely be back at The Tony Hotel.
The rooms are getting a bit tired and could do with refurbishment in the not too distant future.

On the first day of our arrival the shower gel and shampoo bottles in the shower were half empty, we didn’t receive new ones the next day or any other day (our friends did in the other building)

A Memorable Stay at Tony Hotel in the Heart of Miami SB, Embraced by Charm Despite Brief Challenges.
I finally found the time to share my review, better late than never! I had an excellent stay at the Tony Hotel in Miami South Beach. The management is highly competent and addresses any issues promptly! My decision to choose this hotel was influenced by positive reviews about their doorman, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. Domingo, you're a gem! Best greetings from your German bestie <3. Domingo is one of the kindest souls I encountered during my entire U.S. journey. The close proximity to the beach, complete with towels and chairs, is a significant plus. Bonus: The hotel lobby has a delightful fragrance!
As for suggestions for improvement: *The hotel's central location is excellent but comes with the drawback of significant noise from the surrounding area (music from other bars, loud cars, etc.). In an effort to combat this, the Tony Hotel increased its own music volume. However, this unintentional overstimulation of sounds and tones was quite disruptive for me. Perhaps creating a designated quiet area for guests could alleviate this issue. It was challenging to unwind at times, given the vibrant and stimulating atmosphere of Miami South Beach. *The smoking area, being close to the main street, felt unsafe for women as passing men did not always respect personal space, especially verbally. To address this, a solution like a tall fence or green plants reaching above head level could provide more privacy and separate the area from the lively sidewalk.
